Percy Birdy

Percy Birdy, Vice-President, Finance, Glenmark Generics Limited, had joined Glenmark Pharmaceuticals as Vice President – Finance in 2007.

Percy holds Chartered Accountancy and Cost Accountancy qualifications and a Bachelor’s [graduate] degree in Commerce from the Sydenham College.

His previous assignment was as the Global Finance Controller for Essel Propack, an India head-quartered MNC with manufacturing operations across 20 countries. Before that, Percy was with Parke Davis that he joined soon after completing his education. He worked with them for 10 years in the India operations and in the Warner Lambert World Headquarters in NJ. During this tenure he headed the accounting & Treasury functions for the Indian arm. He worked closely with the Warner Lambert Regional President for Asia during his stay in NJ. His contributions were in the areas of Financial Budgeting and Business Plans for the Warner Lambert affiliates in the Region.
